CRICOS Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students.

All international students who wish to study under a student visa must apply for a CRICOS registered course(s). | | EAP | English for Academic Purposes.

Designed for students seeking for further education in Australia. Successful completion of required level will make students eligible to meet the English requirements for most RMIT programs which require IELTS overall 6.5 no band less than 6.0 or lower. The program is offered at RMIT English Worldwide (RMIT Training offers EAP program) | | ELICOS | English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students.

English program that’s designed for international students. (EAP program is a type of ELICOS programs) Temporary visa holders other than a student visa who has study rights can study ELICOS as long as they comply with their visa conditions. | | ESOS | Education Services for Overseas Students Framework.

This covers the provision of education services to overseas students. Vast majority of RMIT pathway programs can be packaged for international students. This means that international students can apply for a single student visa to complete the nominated primary program. For example:

  1. EAP+ Main program
  2. EAP + Foundation + Main program
  3. Foundation + Main program
  4. VE + HE program (only applicable for pre-approved pathway programs only)
  5. Bachelor of Architectural Design + Master of Architecture | | Pathway | A program(s) that allows students to meet entry requirement of their principal program | | Principal Program | The final program an international student will complete for a packaged offer/enrolment.

For example: For a English + Foundation + Bachelor package, Bachelor program will be the student’s principal program. |

AQF has 10 levels: Vocational education and training is offered at AQF Levels 1 to 8 and higher education ranges from AQF Levels 5 to 10.
