Username issues:
When you generate an application using an email that’s already registered in the system, the application may not be assigned/linked to the correct username. Instead, a temporary username (starting with ‘temp’ followed by digits) is given.
When this error occurs, prospects cannot access their applications assigned to the temporary username (”tmpxxxxxx”).

Troubleshoot
- Request another email address not already in the application system.
- Go to the previous/past applications associated with the preferred email address and update the username to the new email address.
- Return to the new application and update the username to the preferred email address.
For applications created by the Study@RMIT team:
- Upon submitting the application, contact the Admissions Systems Support (ASS) team at: [email protected] to request an update to the correct email address.
- If the application has not yet been submitted, (left incomplete), the ASS team cannot update. (follow the steps above to rectify the issue)
